Mr. Abrishami is a Managing Partner at Washington Equity Partners.  Prior to Washington Equity, Mr. Abrishami was a Managing Director and investment committee member at CapitalSpring, a middle market private investment firm that has invested more than $4 billion of capital.  At CapitalSpring, Mr. Abrishami led control equity, non-control equity, and debt investments in multi-unit consumer businesses as well as companies in the manufacturing, business services, and technology sectors.  Prior to CapitalSpring, Mr. Abrishami was an Associate Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), a middle market private equity firm that has managed more than $10 billion of capital, where he was an industry generalist and his areas of investment activity included aerospace/defense, industrials, business services, consumer/franchising, and healthcare.  Prior to LLCP, Mr. Abrishami worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank Group, where he focused on debt and equity investments into manufacturing, chemical, and consumer businesses in emerging international markets.  Prior to IFC, Mr. Abrishami was an Associate at Arlington Capital Partners, where he worked closely with Mr. Liu and Mr. Knibb.  Mr. Abrishami began his career at Deutsche Bank as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group.

Mr. Abrishami has participated in company boards as a director or in other roles at more than ten companies including Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, BSI, Coast Sign, Jonathan Engineered Solutions, LaundryBee, McKenzie Sports Products, Nobles Worldwide, Prime Pizza, Regional Rail, Sizzling Platter, and Treats Unleashed.

Mr. Abrishami graduated magna cum laude, earning Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Nu honors from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance.  In addition, Mr. Abrishami earned a Masters degree in Legal Studies from UCLA Law School.
